Bullseye Butterfly is not really a movie about the inspiration of your mind. I don't even know what that means.

Here's what I do know, this is my friend Eduardo.

Now honestly look this man in the face and tell me you don't want to make a movie with him. You can't do it!

Well neither could I, buster.

Me and Eduardo worked at the same restaurant for a while and became friends mostly because he's hilarious.

Here I am at his birthday party to prove that we are friends.

And here's the specials on May 20th, 2018 to prove that I worked in a restaurant.

I asked Eduardo to play a small role as Experiment Man No.12 in Big Dumb Animal. And he accepted! I mean I think he did. I don't speak Spanish.

Either way he showed up and we shot him in my backyard in front of the worst green screen imaginable.

Oh look, a costume test! Dang, the magic of filmmaking.

Okay moving on now to Bullseye Butterfly, here's us shopping for costumes.

Eduardo said he knew a good store not far away and then we drove for like 3 hours. He lives 8,613km away from his hometown right now so I guess his idea of "not far away" is understandably different than mine. Always gotta remember that.

Because this was all in early 2020, and I was filming myself every day as part of my 2020 project thing, I have a lot of footage of the process.

So here is pre-production + the 2 shoot days. It also includes the visitation of COVID-19 on the North American continent if you're feeling nostalgic for that.
