SAMO BULLSHIT is my old band with Sam - we made joke music for fun people

Sunday Boys & I Will Be Found up there are from a remix/cover album we did where we recorded different versions of THE RACOON WEDDING‘s first record. We were also in that band for a while but got kicked out because of our views on politics.
This is that record on Bandcamp:
We got drunk allll night on this bank machine

I ended up with the bike in this picture but then I locked it up downtown and couldn’t remember the code so I just left it but not before taking the seat which was comfy.

I fuckin’ found them! I found some demos and I’m gonna post them. I don’t even care.
I think this was the first thing we ever did.
We lived above a venue at this time and every weekend I was hearing the best music. I think I wanted us to be a real band that played actual live sets (barf) so I was making backing tracks with one bass guitar over them. So I could play bass and we would both sing.
Don’t know what’s happening here. This song has NO bass frequencies. I don’t recommend this production technique.
My brother’s band used to get so drunk to play or record and I liked the idea of like a drunk quartet trying to play. That’s what I was doing here. Would have sounded ace if it was 2 violins, a viola, and a cello, I think. Instead of 4 Schuylers on the same violin. Also I wasn’t drunk, I was just playing bad. Whatever man. Stuff u.
Oh man I was so happy when I made the backing track for this. I thought it was so interesting. The vocals kind of fuck that up. I didn’t even know to put a low pass filter on the vocals to make them less shitty at the time. I’d spent a LOT of time in studios before this, but some stuff you just miss. If you produce audio in your bedroom and you’ve somehow found yourself on this webpage, please delete the bass frequencies off your shitty microphones. It’s a damn spit-shine on your whole shit. You’ll thank me.
